Here is a roadmap to help teachers get from their outcomes to the daily work of the classroom. It includes sample AIMS, and step-by-step guidance on creating and implementing daily AIMS.

This file shows a student transcript as it appears on line to parents, students, and school staff. With EASE, the percentages proficient and high performance are recalculated at least daily, so students see the results of their work right away.

The attached document is an example of a detailed report card which accompanies the summary reportcard also available on this site. Each class listing includes a summary of the course material covered, the outcomes for the term, and the ratings given by the teacher for them. In addition, the system enables the teacher to attach a narrative which allows for more detailed comments from the teacher.

This document is the summary page for a typical report card using EASE. It lists each class, and the student's percent proficient or better and percent high performance ratings for the outcomes evaluated in that class. This reportcard is accompanied by a detailed listing for each class, showing each outcome and the student's rating for it, and giving the teacher an opportunity to add a narrative for further depth.

This sample shows a 7th grade world studies (Humanities) course, with each outcome, the rubric for deciding Proficient and High Performance work, classroom and other student activites, and the evidence the teacher will use to evaluate student work pertaining to each outcome.

This file provides an example of a way to create a lesson plan, using outcomes to map backward to daily classroom activity.

This worksheet gives visual cues for how each piece of evidence (quizzes, Problems of the Week, classroom observation, homework, etc.) relates to one or more outcomes. The completed grid gives the teacher a handy way to see whether a student is proficient, high performing, or not yet proficient for each outcome. Shaded areas denote assignments, tests, etc. that do not apply to the given outcome. A teacher would review the general trend of a student's performance for the outcome under consideration as the basis for making a final determination.
